well here is an updated version of my dioskilos. There is still more work to do, but this has two levels of smoothing, everything is in place, haven't modelled out teeth yet.

This is my second posting for the actual modelling of the Dioskilos. Critique would be aprieciated.

Here is a work in progress of the Dioskilos that I am modelling out for the Hardcore modelling contest through CGSociety. If you have any comments or critiques, that would be nice.

This is day three of the competition and we seemed to be up against people who seem to do this for a living. But we participated in the event and we're mostly proud of the work we did. The sculpture of the mushroom and stuff won 1st place and is off to Quebec next year representing BC. Oh and any white spots on the pictures is actually snow since it had started to snow over night.

These are some of the picture that I too on day 2 to see how things were progressing. This was the night that we only got three hours of sleep.

Quote of the weekend: "Dude, I'll give you $20 to ride the snow beaver" (some drunk guy)

Here we are at the Snow Sculpting Competition up at Silver Star in Vernon. Here are some pictures of our progress from Day 1. We have managed to work with a timeline and well...it seems to be working quite well. I've placed the time I took the photo on the picture, sorry there not in order.

Now that you have seen pictures of what the original dioskilos looks like back from the movie, I've gone and drawn up a top, side and front view of what I will be using for my rotoscope. I don't think that I did the best job drawing this out but I feel that it will do for what I need it to do.
