To those of you who are either keeping tabs on my blog or just happen to stumble across it. The Ho-Masubi project has been put on hold. It was taking too long and I have to have to complete models done in three months and well that wasn't going to happen at the rate I was going.

So instead after talking to two of my instructors, we figured that since I want to be an environment artist, that I should be looking towards interiors and exteriors of place that exist or via my own thing...(more so from a picture). I'll be posting some of the work up soon. Otherwise...please check out: http://cato3d.foumer.com

This is my latest model that will be appearing on my demo reel when I finish my schooling. This is Ho-Masubi - he's a nekomata(fork tailed cat)....it's apart of Japanese folklore and when I had done my research on it, I thought that I should model out one the way I thought that it would look. Well I did a lot of sketching trying to develop the right style and so this is what I came up with. I hope you all like what you see.
